About the event

Headlining in clubs across the country, a favored performer in Europe, and having toured with the USO, Paula Bel is a true original. Only six years into her stand up career, she performed on The Tonight Show with Jay Leno. Being one of the first to perform at the Aspen Rooftop Comedy Festival, Bel soon after received a development deal with the Warner Bros. network. Bel's numerous television appearances and writing style make her one of the most unique and funniest female comics performing today. This native from Santa Cruz, California, recently received a standing ovation on Chris Spencer's Vibe. If you think dating is tough, try being her date! Touching on so many hysterically funny situations in a very cutting edge humor we can all relate to! Not only does she make you laugh, she really makes you feel her stage presence with her strong personality. Bel first started to perform in San Francisco where she realized her comedic talent.
